Shakespeares ´The Tempest´
Batida are these days beginning the preparations for the big co-produktion with Meridiano, Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center and Shanghai Acrobats. Shakespeares The Tempest will have its premiere in Shanghai in mid october 2010. After that the performance will come to Denmark and perform in the beginning of 2011. Ouverture in Sibenik, Croatia
Batida participated from 24th of june to 26th of june with their performance "Ouverture" in the 40th anniversary of the International Children’s festival i Sibenik, Croatia.
Back from Finland, Latvia and Portugal
In end of May Batida went to Kouvola, Finland, with the performance Spaghetti. Just after returning from Finland, the group went with Ouverture to Latvia and from there directly to Portugal.
Hallelujah we are rich!
Batidas new portable musical performance about the financial crisis, lust for power and (lack of) humanity played three times on the big danish theatre festival for children and adults, that was held in Esbjerg this year. The play is a musical and speechless horror-comedy.
Batidafestival: Theatre from the Moon from the 18th to 21st of March 2010
Batida had their own festival this year. Four days, 11 performances and 1800 free tickets. Four fantastic days full of happy people.
With The Royal Family in Vietnam
In the beginning of November Batida went to Vietnam to be part of the Danish Royal familys official visit in Hanoi. For this purpose, they created a performance in collaboration with the vietnamese Youth Theatre. This performance was played for the Danish Queen and Princess Mary at the Hanoi Youth Theatre the 3rd of November 2009. Batida also played the performance Grande Finale five different places in Hanoi and received a warm welcome from an enthusiastic public. See the following review. (Batida in Vietnam)
Batida in Bayamo, Cuba
In august Batida went to Cuba with two performances. They performed "The Wonderful Trio" four times in Bayamos new grand theatre for a very happy audience. Furthermore they performed "Ouverture" four times outdoor in Bayamo and one time in Havana. The trip was supported by The Danish Arts Council.
The season 2009-2010 has startet
Batida is looking towards a busy season with 120 perfomances in Denmark on schools and librarys all over the country. This autumn Batida also travels abroad to perform in Cuba and in Vietnam.
Batida in Kabul, Afghanistan
Three days after returning from Belgrade, Batida is going to Kabul, Afghanistan to perform "Grande Finale" and to do workshops with local actors and art-students. From the 10th of june to the 20th of june
Batida opens TIBA festival in Belgrade, Serbien
Saturday 6th of juni, Batida will play "Grande Finale" at the opening of the TIBA festival in Belgrade, Serbia. The Serbian-Turkis-Danish co-production "The Miracle" will play twice at the TIBA festival.

The Miracle in Danmark
"The Miracle" - the result of a Serbian, Turkish and danish cooperation - played twice in Denmark at the TC Festival 2009.
"The Miracle" in Beograd - a Batida coorperation with Serbia and Turkey
Batida has made a co-production with Bosko Buha Theatre (Serbia) and Istanbul Municipality Theatre (Turkey). This work has now resulted in the performance "The Miracle". The performance had premiere on the 5th of februar in Serbia. I will play in Denmark in april 2009.

Batida in Beirut, Libanon
Batida has been to Beirut, Libanon with "Grande Finale". The group performed three times. Twice on the street and once in an islamic orphanage. The tour was supperted by DCCD.
"Maria Bonita" takes a prize in Estonia
Less than two weeks after having received the award in Bucharest, Batida wins another prize. This time in Estonia, Parnu at the NB Festival, 18th to 22nd oktober. The prize was given to Batidas "Maria Bonita" for being the "Most Dynamic Performance" at the festival.
Award for "Best Acting" in Bucharest, Romania
After performing "Grande Finale" at the fourth "International Theatre Festival for Children - 100, 1,000, 1,000,000 Tales" (Bucharest october 2008) Batida received the jurys award for "Best Acting".

Batida opens the 8th International World Symposium on Choral Music 2008
Batida left the stage in the Danish Royal Opera house under big applause after having been the hosts of the 8th internationale World Symposium on Choral Music 2008. The synposium had app. 1100 participants from all over the world and is seen as the worlds most important choral event.
New Tales From Denmark - Shanghai 28. may - 7. june
Batida participates at the danish-chinese festival "New Tales From Denmark" at Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center from the 28nd of maj - 7th of 2008. Batida will participate with two performances, Grande Finale og Maria Bonita.
Batida receives two awards in Turin, Italy
Batidas performance Grande Finale received two awards at the festival Festival di Teatro per le Nuove Generazioni in Turin. The performance took the prize for "Best Direction" and for "Best Artistic Performance".
Batida in Madrid
Batida just returned from Madrid - Festival Teatralia - where they performed Grande Finale three times.
Theatre from the Moon, 6th-9th marts 2008
In 4 days Batida performed 9 different, musical and relevant plays about life on earth. The festival was a great succes!

Fargo & Son - New Batida-performance
This spring revealed a new Batida-performance: Fargo & Son. A historical and political drama written by Soeren Ovesen and directed by Vibeke Wrede. The performance contain a lot of music written by the brasilian composer Magno Bissoli Siquiera, played live on stage by the nine actors.
Batida receives award in Belarus
The Batida-performance Osvald The Monkey got the award for ”best acting” at XII International Theatre Festival “Belaja Vezha” (sep. 2007) in Brest, Belarus.
Batida i Kina 2007
